RIDGE KIDS
Ridge Kids is the Children's Ministry at Garden Ridge. We believe it is important to create a place where kids thrive.
OUR MISSION
To assist parents in planting a seed of Faith within each child's heart, water that seed through meaningful Bible Classes and events, and equip parents to grow family Faith at home.
PLANTING
The seed of Faith cannot be planted too early. That is why even our Nursery Class time is not simply childcare, but a time we teach babies and toddlers through song and play, that our BIG God created the world, loves them, and wants us to be His children!
WATERING
The watering of our faith never ends. Even mature Christians must nurture their faith every day. So Ridge Kids encourages parents to revisit lessons from our Bible Classes daily with the materials we provide. God created our children’s hearts to seek Him and to love others, so we also water our children’s faith through encouraging service. Our Summer program aims specifically to engage children in serving God through serving our neighbors, both across the street and across the world!
VOLUNTEERS
One of the most important aspects of Ridge Kids is our Volunteers. All of our screened volunteers love God, love children and undergo background checks to provide peace of mind to the parents who entrust us with their child’s physical, spiritual, and emotional care
