Discussion Questions:

1. How does the Tabernacle show us God’s plan for relationship with us? What part belongs

to God’s sovereignty, and what part belongs to man’s free will?

2. Why do our plans need God’s final word? Why is flexibility important in planning? How is

flexibility a sign of life?

3. How have you seen God orchestrate events in your life? How does He orchestrate things

while still allowing free will?

4. How has God’s use of darkness and evil opened the door for doubt, skepticism, or a

struggle of what to believe? What kinds of things help to place things in a proper

perspective?

5. How is God’s sovereign reign demonstrated by events throughout the Scriptures? What

kind of peace does this give you as you live in a world filled with chaos, danger, pain, and

loss?

Discussion Questions:

1. How hungry are you to learn more about the LORD and to serve the LORD? Where does

zeal for the LORD come from? How does one develop it and maintain it?

2. How have your choices gotten in the way of God’s plan?

3. Why do we get it in our mind that going to the King is dangerous? How has this affected

your walk with the LORD and service to Him? How has He shown you that He is holding

out the golden scepter to you?

4. How has gathering community together and informing them of what you are dealing with

helped you overcome?

5. How do you see God’s big plan and your personal plans intersecting? Why is freewill a

huge responsibility?

Discussion Questions:

1. What kinds of situations or needs make you feel like you need more than God? How does

His interaction in history show that He is our shield and great reward?

2. Why is God’s plan dependent upon our faith? How is it also true that God’s plan will be

accomplished even if we do not walk by faith in Him?

3. How did God provide everything Abraham needed to develop and grow in faith? How

have you seen Him provide what you need for your own faith development and growth?

How do the stars offer a reminder of God’s provision?

4. Why would God’s plan include darkness, oppression, vultures, and other difficulties? How

did these things assist Abraham and his descendants in walking by faith and remembering

their need for God?

5. Describe how freewill and God’s provision of a path through history work together. How do

these things make it possible for us to rest in peace and feel security?
