1. In what ways have you been hands and/or feet for Jesus? Why does Jesus entrust us with

this?

2. How has somebodies’ poor representation of Jesus frustrated you or hindered your faith

development? In what ways has Jesus asked you to represent Him?

3. Jesus emphasizes urgency and priority as He sends out the 70. What kinds of things work

against maintaining urgency and keeping focus on His ways?

4. Why is it important that Jesus uses infants instead of the wise and intelligent? How would

you describe your dependence upon God?

5. How do you show victory in your life? How does living in victory show you are being

transformed by Jesus?

Transformed--Lesson 6--Ears that Hear

Discussion Questions:

1. Why would it be more important for the demons to keep things out your of your mind rather

than putting things into it?

2. How amazed are you that the God of the universe wants to speak to us? What happens

when we lose our sense of amazement or awe?

3. How did proximity to the presence of God play an important role in the story of Eli and

Samuel at the tabernacle? What kind of battle do you have with desiring to have your own

place versus camping out in the presence of God?

4. Are there some things we could be doing that would cause “the word of God to be rare

and visions infrequent”? What kinds of things hinder His speaking or our ability to listen?

5. How have you seen God produce flowers in the strangest places in this world and/or in

your own personal life? What does Samuel show you about the difference one person can

make, even in a time of darkness, when they have their ears transformed to hear God?

Transformation--Lesson 5--A Consecrated Mouth

Discussion Questions:

1. How do your words give away your real nature? What makes it so difficult to tame the

tongue?

2. How have you seen words hurt even more than physical pain? Do you have anyone you

need to make amends with?

3. What does the way God touched the mouths of Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel tell you about

the consecration and transformation that needs to be done to your mouth?

4. Why do teachers face a stricter judgment? Why would anyone want to be a teacher for

God? How does spiritual maturity factor into these things?

5. How have you seen God use people’s words like the staff of Moses? How does what God

did on the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2 provide confidence that He can transform your

tongue and use you in a powerful way?
